4. Description: Hygiene services. Water distribution and related services. Chelmsford City Council wishes to appoint a single contractor for a three year term, plus a possible further one year extension, to undertake planned and regular Legionella Risk Assessments, sampling and water hygiene at Council buildings throughout the Chelmsford area.

The works will comprise of the following:
Completion of site log books
A full risk assessment to be completed in the first six months of the Contract.
A monitoring and sampling programme
An annual review of the Risk Assessment
Water cleaning and water hygiene

This contractor will also be responsible for responding to any reactive work concerning Legionella Management as necessary.

Estimated contract value 41,000 per year
Contract term 1st July 2015 to 31st March 2018 (or 2019 with extension).
